Blockchain technology can bridge this trust deficit by enabling and encouraging deeper integration of SMEs into the ecosystem. Audit becomes easier and cost effective and so real time operational data can now be tracked and audited. This opens up access to risk capital for SME manufacturers and should accelerate the technology upgradation of these “LITTLE BLOCKS” of manufacturing value chain.
